I came to poetry while studying world history and literature. Poetry found its place as did the protest and revolutionary movements of the 1960s and 1970s North America and worldwide: as did the philosophies of Nihilism, Anarchism, Marxism.
                                                                     Kurt
A unionist and socialist for decades, Kurt worked as a bookseller, messenger, longshoreman, inland seaman, film researcher, kitchen warehouse worker, GED instructor, food coop employee – and served 15 years in federal prison.
